Prepay Full: $210 prepay for full 7 week session

More Information:
We will do art skills exercises and projects. The projects will focus primarily on drawing animals using the skill studied that day, there will be different options each week and room for students to create art using their own subject matter. The first 10 minuets will be free art to allow for later arrivals and student are welcome to stay up to 15 minuets after to finish up with help from the instructor. (Additional fee for pickups after 5:15 though, sorry).
Dates Skills Subjects
March 7th shapes and intro to artistic observation local wildlife (including the smaller critters and insects)
March 14th shading pets (bring a picture of your pet if you'd like)
March 21st color fantastic beasts (dragons, unicorns, mermaids and more)
March 28th anatomy 2-4-8 legs, wings and more (examine the similarities and differences between animals)
April 4th perspective animals on location (any of the above in a setting using perspective tools)
April 11th composition animal show (any of the above using composition concepts to present them to the world)
April 18th return to artistic observation animals observed (any of the above drawn from observation using methods we’ll learn in class.

Materials included. We'll use graphite, colored pencils and some watercolors.
Each class will build on earlier ones. Coming to all classes is totally the best way to go but they can stand alone.
Sculpting and Hand Building
Time: TUESDAYS, After School 3:05 - 4:05
